Session one will help you navigate Alberta’s healthcare system and explore options for supportive housing to assist you in confident decision making.

Tammy Lautner
- Founder of Peace of Mind Consulting
Tammy Lautner, is a registered social worker with over 20 years of experience, Tammy holds a Social Work diploma from MacEwan University and has worked across continuing care, seniors’ benefits, community development, and municipal leadership.
She currently serves on several provincial and national boards, including the Alberta Association on Gerontology and the Canadian Association of Health Advocates.
Drawing from both her professional background and personal experience, Tammy offers practical insight and grounded support to help families make confident, informed decisions during times of change.


Christine Vasseur
- Owner of Clear Method
Christine Vasseur is a professional organizer and the founder of Clear Method, based in Edmonton, Alberta. She holds a diploma in Visual Communications from MacEwan University and combines her creative background with years of experience in management and administration.
Christine works with individuals and families of all ages to declutter, organize, and create functional spaces that reduce stress and bring clarity to everyday life.
Christine specializes in supporting older adults and their caregivers through the emotional and practical journey of downsizing. With kindness, patience, and a strong belief that every person and every item has a story, she helps clients navigate transitions with dignity and care. Whether it’s preparing for a move, sorting through a lifetime of belongings, or creating calm in a new space, Christine offers thoughtful, hands-on support every step of the way.


Dana Chan
- Director of Qualicare Edmonton Northwest
With 18 years of dedicated experience as an elementary school teacher, Dana has had the privilege of working in various regions, from Alberta to British Columbia. However, when the pandemic hit, she felt a strong desire to make a more substantial impact. This led her to transition into owning a home care franchise with Qualicare.
Today, the need for high-quality senior care is greater than ever, as the industry continues to grow with the aging population across North America.
Drawing on her background as a teacher and her genuine passion for enhancing senior care, Dana is now in a unique position to make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors and those around them.
